Kiting with a bunch of Euros really sucks here in Paracuru. Too bad they learned to kite instead continuing to play golf. When you are learning a new sport especially if it is your first water sport there is some stuff you need to learn. They come here to Brasil with all their new kit 3 kites, twintip, strapless board because the mags tell them they need to ride strapless to be cool and just make a fucking mess of a great kite spot. Make sure when you fall you leave your kite sky high at neutral so nobody can pass. Usually not a big deal but every tack some kook is doing this, The locals don't care to police the stupidity like is done in Hawaii and many other places so it just turns into anarchy for a month or 2 here. The funny thing is that it is not really even that crowded if people respected right of way and were just courteous on the water, but no hey I am here with my 3 or 4 friends I have spent this much money I am entitled to put people at risk and be an nice person. In the past I used to try to talk to people and it usually ended bad now I dont even try because I would have to talk to like 20 or 30 people a day. Its funny one year a guy comes alone and the next year he has to bring his whole posse from home, 5 or 6 guys or more. Too bad kiters arent more like surfers that try to not over expose a spot. The level gets sooo much worse every year just really sucks.

Localism will make it safer for everyone to have fun, it usually takes a bad accident to wake people up sooner or later it will happen, like some beachgoers getting caught up in someones lines when they are powered. Luckily the wind is side shore here so most accidents are just close calls. If it was onshore wind would be a totally different story. Have fun kiting and dont be an nice person is what I am saying.

Haha test riders not.. most cant even jibe a surfboard. When they took their lessons last year they never learned to look before jibe. The Pros that come here even say how bad it is.

Sounds like they are still learning to ride strapless and need to do it someplace more appropriate and not get in the way of the other riders. That takes more time and isn't easy to learn to do well from guys I've seen doing it.
