Okay after many hours researching I have decided on the following locations for my first ever kite trip. All 4 fit my budget spot type etc. What would you guys recommend. Tarifa would be number 1 but really put off by the crowds. How busy are all 4 spots in early July? El Gouna lagoon seems like it could be a nightmare too looking at the tidal schedule
1-El Gouna
2-Dakhla
3-Tarifa
4-Gokova
Any help?

have you considered Fuerteventura? (Corralejo), not as crowded as Tarifa and yet good wind from June-Sep.Flag Beach is a good spot as is Cotillo, though Flag Beach is the only beach with rescue cover of those 2 beaches.
Dhakla I think might be too hot as I have been to Morocco a number of times in the summer and if you get a few days of no wind it is unbearable..you are right about El Gouna with the tides, of course you could get the tide tables and try to be there the week they have full moon and high tide during the afternoon.
Whatever your choice have a good time
