Kite destinations late March to late April?

Postby Marro » Wed Feb 17, 2016 5:00 pm

Hi, me and my girl are looking for our last destination of our 6 month kitetrip. We where in Italy in October, Philippines in November and December and now Vietnam since beginning of January. Having an epic time in Mui Ne, lots of wind!
We are not sure about the spot for March and April, lots of spots are reccomendet but when you look closer it seems to have only light winds most of the time. So to be clear, we look for spots with 25-40 knots and we have a rpm 7 and 10.

If anyone has some experiences to share would be very appreciated!!

Thanks!

Hey, why don't you guys stay in MuiNe? It looks very promising here, there will be wind for sure. When not, we were kiting in Sri Lanka in April - very similar conditions to here. I'm in Mui Ne too and I'm not going anywhere any time soon! What a season, huh?

Indeed it is a very good spot and the wind is ON since we arrived the end of December! But by mid march it will be 2.5 month in Mui Ne, it is time to move on, I'll be back for sure!

Finally we booked a flight to Sal Cape Verde mid March.
There is less wind I guess but it seems like an impressive spot and much different compared to Mui Ne. Thanks for your advice!
