Tunisair rip-off

Postby Macisback » Sat Jul 09, 2016 8:13 pm

Tunisia is most likely not on your list of favourites these days. But instead of being welcoming to the few guests that are willing to travel to a potentially unsafe destination, you get ripped off big time.

For a kite bag with 25kg and 160cm you pay 175 Euros one way. Despite having a Fidelys customer card and despite Golf and Diving luggage being free of charge.

In my friends case, who traveled yesterday they paid 700 Euros for 2 ways for 2 bags - more than their tickets from Vienna.

In addition on the homepage it says you do not need to register the sports luggage, but if you don't (just having done that by luck), you can't fly.

Kiters are NOT welcome. Worst Airline. Never again.

Sorry to hear this.

This is really a rip off!

You should email them. And the more do it, it might change something, if they are smart enough.

I emailed them. They came back saying Austrian Airlines charges 110 Euros for a Golf Bag, so Tunisair is comparably cheap.

Ignorant to say the least.

If your country suffers from terrorist attacks and has no tourists left, don't rip off the few last ones who are still willing to come. Easy as that. Ignorant a..holes.

Yes the pre registration is standard, thats why we sent an email prior just to make sure.

But on the homepage it clearly states there is no need to do do.

Imagine standing on the airport and not being able to fly...
