Hi!
Im thinking of going to cape verde to kitesurf (and windsurf). I been windsurfing for many years but are beginner as kitesurfer. Ideal would be a flatwaterspot. And with not to deep water.
My friend is also going to take windsurfinglessons.
Anyone with experience of a good spot for us?

I only know Sal and Boavista, both have awesome conditions for my taste. But IMHO no worthwile spots with flat (and even shallow water). Both Islands have spots on the leeward side with flat water, but they are pretty gusty.
But the on shore spots are absolutely doable for beginners, waves are not so big and never hollow. Maybe just avoid rush hour at the kitebeach/shark bay.
Shallow water is comfortable but not safe to learn.
