Hi,
I have about 2 weeks in Feb/March that I want to use to check out kiteboarding in Cuba.
I'm wondering if it makes sense to split the trip into 2 parts, first a week in Cuba and then another week somewhere nearby that also has good kiting.
Looks like the easiest areas to reach with a flight from Havana would be
1.) Grand Cayman
2.) Nassau
3.) Punta Cana
Which of those options do you think are best in terms of epic kiting and affordable accommodation?
Any other recommendations on other places?
Or do you think it's better to stay in Cuba for the whole 2 weeks?
Thanks,
Thomas

Hey Thomas - I'm also looking at Punta Cana and Grand Cayman for the week of March 4-11. Are you interested in combining trips? Or sharing research? Bavaro kite school in los corales beach says they have great flat water. Grand Cayman I hear is even lighter winds but great flat slicks. email me at
jklongneck@outlook.com if interested to chat. -Justin
