Thx for sharing!
Enjoy your stay there!!!
PS: how warm is the water?
Not sure what the actual water temperature is, but definitely warm enough so no wetsuit required.
I tend to always wear a full wetsuit regardless, but more to protect against sunburn and windchill.
As a whole, it's an awesome spot. Wind is a bit more variable than Cape Town, but great flat water in the lagoon. Feel like some wave action, do a reach out to the river mouth and get some 3-5 ft rollers, although I just use these as kickers.
Windguru seems to be pretty accurate.
I went through my whole quiver from 6m to 17m in the last 2 weeks.
There's a kite shop, Pili-Pili, nearby, so you can rent kites or SUPs.
There's also some good fishing to be had. You can buy a license at the post office here.
