Any insight to kiting in and around Runaway bay mid-April? Normal wind speeds, spots, sizes to bring, etc?

Thanks

Hi Greg,

I was in Rose Hall Jamaica in April 2015 for a week. I had reached out to KiteBoarding Jamaica when I arrived. They would check in with me if they thought there might be wind. Only got one good day of wind. I took a taxi to the beach which was about a 15 minute drive from Rose Hall. Be sure to negotiate your two way fare prior to leaving. The beach they used was remote and and empty, with just a few dreadlocked folks hanging around. Good area for kiting, shallow and although sandy, there was some reef so take booties. They supplied all the gear.

Honestly getting away from the all inclusive scene was half the fun. It was a memorable session. Good luck and let us know how it goes...
