Valencia Trip - Where to stay?

Hi all,

Am headed to Valencia last week of March / First week April.

If it looks windy then I will take my kit with me.

Looking at accommodation and cant decide where is best to stay? Will have a rental car so will be able to explore, but I would like to combine a bit of sightseeing of the city, and getting out to the coast to kite e.t.c

There are loads of places on Airbnb - thinking up to about 50eur a night.

Can anyone with any experience of Valencia, or the general area give any useful tips / recommendations ?
