Hello,
I want to make my first kitesurf downwind in the Pearl Lagoon in the caribbean of Nicaragua.
My idea is to start with 10 km of downwind. Is it reasonable ?
the lagoon is 30 km long.
If someone want to join, he is welcome
here is some info

How safe is the area!?
How expensive to stay!?
what are the windy months?
How easy it is to organize those fantastic 30 km downwinders!?
I would love to do them!

Hello
In the area, you have the caribbean sea, and the lagoon.
In the lagoon, there are small fisherman village, from indigenous communities. People are very friendly.
For safety, we go with our own boat. The lagoon is no deep, beetwen 1 and 2 meters deep.
There are sandy beaches to land , and the water is always hot.
Windy months are from december to may
TO make this down wind, we go with my boat from pearl lagoon. There are hotels, from 10$ by night.
Nicaragua is not expensive for tourism.
