I've already booked my trip so nothing I can do about that now, but anyone been?
I understand one can't expect fantastic wind down there, but I'm hoping I can get more days on the water than on the beach with my 17m.

i ve been there for 2 years end of January and beginning of February
wind starts in the morning but its light and tide is not enough so you go near the reef and hour after
hour tide comes in , wind getting stronger and its getting choppy then in the afternoon
if you have a big kite and a smaller like 11-10 you will kite i think all day
have fun !

Thanks. Sounds good.
At 100kg I don't think 10-11 will do, but as long as there is enough wind for my 17 I'm happy.
Will definitely check out Kilima Kidogo!

300? Mine are like 10 a week.
Malaria doesn’t seem to be a problem here. Talked to people living here for more than 10 years without getting malaria or having friends gotten it. There is malaria here though. So for 10 dollars a week I take my pills.
Very very good spot by the way. Surprised it is getting so little attention. Been here for three weeks and only two days without wind. The wind is never really strong, but on good days people under 100kg are overpowered on a 12m.
