kite surf trip australie

Postby melissabuemi » Mon Sep 25, 2017 7:04 pm

Hola !

I will have a guess at your message......

There will be hardly any wind in Cairns in November. It will just be very hot and sticky. But as you move down the coast from Brisbane to Sydney, you should get good Nor-Easter sea breezes most afternoons with the odd southerly (it is the beginning of the prime kite period for the area). Average wind is probably 20 knots.

When you head over to Perth, you will get very good breezes almost every afternoon. Average wind is probably 25 knots.

Translation (although I feel communication will be difficult if she can't speak English and you can't speak French):
Hola!
I am arriving on the 2nd of November at Cairns for 3 months. I intend to do Cairns-Sydney then the surroundings of Perth. I am looking for a partner, kiter or windsurfer, that would be motivated to do this in a minivan. It would be great to discover and kite on the Australian spots with our own gear and be able to go where the wind takes us. If anyone is interested, it would be with great pleasure!
