Hello to everyone!
Could you help me organize a few things with my trip in Brazil?
As i am a solo traveller-kitesurfer i am considering of booking a kite safari trip to explore Brazil.
How many days do you recommend for a kite safari, because i have seen 7days trips and 14 days trips.
In your opinion, is a 7 day trip worth the try or not? (consider that after the downwind trip i will spend 7 more days staying on a beach near Fortaleza (Cumbuco or Taiba to relax and kite all day)
Can you also inform me if it is possible to bring only my kites and rent a board somewhere in Cumbuco just for the days of my trip, and how much would that cost to me ?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
ALOHA!

It depends, 7 might be quiet some stress if you downwind daily. Not sure how the plan is, but 14 days might be more relaxed and you see more of the coast.

Maybe do 7, and come again to do 14 next year.

Make sure to be kinda fit, and have good sim protection, since the sim is very strong, being 3 degrees below the equator.

Boards can be rented normally. Just make sure Otto reserve one before you come. Ask the downwind provider or check with a kite school online.

CU around!

7 days would be a good start... more than enough for a first downwind tour.

You can rent gear but you would need to arrange a return of the rented gear from the end point of your tour.
I had to rent a kite for the tour, because airline lost my bag with gear.

Yes, Toby is right, even for a 7 days tour, definitely get yourself in shape, do a few "dry run" downwinders back home (20-40km) just to get a feel what is it going to be.

I did a Delta Tour (Prea -> Atins) with SSF a few years back, we were covering 40-70 km per day, for 7 days.
First two nights I could not even sleep well because of over-exhaustion, then I started ordering a daily evening massage at every stop point... it helped tremendously - with that I could go non-stop, all the way to Greenland ))
