I've spent this season as a kite instructor at Hotel Feel Viana in Portugal. Absolutely beautiful spot and most my students were very happy with the hotel and surroundings .
Wind is great and always more than predicted on windfinder, worth a look

Not sure about kids club but Dos Mares in Tarifa is right on the beach and a nice spot to hang out. Body Boarding, surfing, SUP, windsurf as alternatives. May is great in Tarifa.
