Che , the truth, the hatred:

The cult of Ernesto Che Guevara is an episode in the moral callousness of our time. Che was a totalitarian. He achieved nothing but disaster. Many of the early leaders of the Cuban Revolution favored a democratic or democratic-socialist direction for the new Cuba. But Che was a mainstay of the hardline pro-Soviet faction, and his faction won. Che presided over the Cuban Revolution's first firing squads. He founded Cuba's "labor camp" system—the system that was eventually employed to incarcerate gays, dissidents, and AIDS victims. To get himself killed, and to get a lot of other people killed, was central to Che's imagination. In the famous essay in which he issued his ringing call for "two, three, many Vietnams," he also spoke about martyrdom and managed to compose a number of chilling phrases: "Hatred as an element of struggle; unbending hatred for the enemy, which pushes a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him into an effective, violent, selective, and cold-blooded killing machine. This is what our soldiers must become …"— and so on. He was killed in Bolivia in 1967, leading a guerrilla movement that had failed to enlist a single Bolivian peasant. And yet he succeeded in inspiring tens of thousands of middle class Latin-Americans to exit the universities and organize guerrilla insurgencies of their own. And these insurgencies likewise accomplished nothing, except to bring about the death of hundreds of thousands, and to set back the cause of Latin-American democracy—a tragedy on the hugest scale.

For all I know, Che was the biggest dick ever but accusing him of indirectly being responsible for incarcerating AIDS victims is a little unfair because he died in 1967 which is long before AIDS.

and the best thing is that Cuben Fibre has nothing to do with Cuba....

it is a brand of a sail cloth manufacturer that originates from a R+D project of the
America³ [read America cube] America's Cup syndicate from 1992.

detailed info on Cuben fiber

the white boat in the pic below has Cuben sails in the AC'92.

Why start now?

Because it grabs your attention.

I think its truly funny. ( I am a sick bstrd though).

Maybe I get it because I see the message which is, WW kites are the best! Join them and crush all the others! That's F-ing funny! Their not saying kill other people. WW isn't the largest company and they aren't spending tons of money on advertising. They must be putting all their energy and money into their kite designs and testing!

Kazi’s mock up of the Osama T shirt is even better! ( Is that real because I want one)

The competition should be terrorized.
Like Osama, WW is still alive. The world doesn't know what WW is going to do next but you know its going to be big. And they are committed to being the best at what they do.

I know some of you are going to jump down my throat but forget about it. I live very close to NYC and lost a lot of friends in the World Trade Towers but it’s only a freaking analogy. Lighten up!

Kazi you also say that you aren't giving WW one more cent until they cut the ads. I think you aren't giving them one more cent because you already have 4 WW kites and your all set. Yes???

How about if WW hires a real expensive ad agency and diverts their funds there?? I don’t think so. I also don’t think they paid anyone a red cent for that stupid but funny ad.

If I buy another kite it will be a WW until someone shows me a better kite.

I forgot to mention the mock up by the new guy, "The Cuban" with Hitler! Being of the Jewish decent I think that one was even further over the top! I'll take 3 in XL please!

I think WW is trying to create a genetically pure bread of kites!
