The brand is irrelevant, their all the same give or take. It’s getting the right model from the range for what you wanna do that counts. Having said that, pretty much all modern kites are fine for beginners so I really wouldn’t worry too much.

One thing i would do , before Ya consider a kite of
any kind ; that you search KF first, and see if it had bad
bladder problems, (some brands like to leak, and some don't).
Even a Great brand like Ozone, had faults in some models, when
they first arrived on production , (like stitching, leaky one pump systems, exc...);
so you gotta search and research first, and each year/model is different.
Do (NOT) take someones word, for what is good, and what isn't because some people apparently don't mind , changing out bladders !! --
I mostly own Ozone Edge ; it's not a beginner friendly kite , so take it from there
and the only Catalyst i own , is a 15m, so my review won't do you any good
other than it hasn't given me or the last owner, any problems, and it's easy
to fly.
