Calling cold water kiters! - Glove me.

Postby Beardytello » Tue Feb 06, 2018 12:06 pm

Hey men,

I'm looking for advice on some as thin as possible, precurved gloves. They don't need to be the warmest but they have to be thin, I get really bad arm pump otherwise!

What do you have / recommend?

Thanking you in advance!

Thank you iriejohn.

This is both informative and marginally passive aggressive, but mostly informative :D

Ripcurl flash bomb 3/2 5 finger, not pre-curved but the best I've had and I've had a lot. They are a nice balance between warmth and flex.

NRS mittens. Pre-curved, super warm and good touch to the bar.

I don't buy any gloves any more what are not precurved!

I agree. I had, for many years, a pair of thin not pre-curved neoprene gloves. They were not that warm & caused forearm fatigue. I now have a pair of relatively thick gloves that are seriously pre-curved. They are very warm & create minimal forearm fatigue.

A hook to hold onto the bar would be best! Like a pirate. I bet pirate hooks don't get cold.

Ion Claw has a lot of shape built into the fingers, really helps.

Look no further! Ride Engine has exactly what you're looking for.

Gul also makes a 1.5mm glove with radically curved fingers, but it's harder to find.
