2018 crazyfly raptor pro ltd noise???

So I rode my new 2018 crazyfly raptor pro ltd neon today 137 x 41.....Felt great, light and zippy with lots of energy, great pop. Very happy!!! One odd thing though, it made a vibrating noise at lower speed, not a big deal but I have never had a board do this before. I was thinking maybe it had something to do with the carbon construction... anyone else experience this??

Are the fins tight? If they're not then tighten them, if they are then try changing them (or take them off and try without) to see if the harmonic goes away.

Everything is tight, fins look fine. But I will try switch them around and see if that helps.

If you take them off then you'll find out for sure

Windsurf fins can do this it they are too sharp in the TE, maybe this.
I know some C/F's can come with sharp edges.
Maybe try another set to help eliminate them before you go taking a file to them!

Just noticed your sig, if you still have a Monk (or King Gee) put those fins on the CF and see if the noise goes away.

I have the same board and the same noise ,
I called CF rep in TX and he said thats fins .
They made fins "beefier" this year and thats what cause it .
He said there is no issue with performance because of that .

There is an issue with performance because noise is wasted energy.

Good idea....The monks are for sale after several years of service, but I do still have them.

I had the regular (non carbon) model for a few session and there was no noise. I wonder if it has something to do with the carbon construction adding to the sound...
