I guess you tried to jump like that in 6-8 knots (average 7 knots : 8 mph)Tone wrote:I currently have a 21m in LTD edition Green for sale

supa I believe you but i'd love to see a vid of kiteloops on your 19m regardless of the wind speedsSupaEZ wrote:I guess you tried to jump like that in 6-8 knots (average 7 knots : 8 mph)Tone wrote:I currently have a 21m in LTD edition Green for sale

If i did this video i would have to make sure to explain to all viewers what was happening
You sometimes have near shore 6-8 knots...but in open water it can be MUCH more in the kite
So as a rule of thumb...put up the kite anyway...and give it a go on the water
If you cannot go then nobody will
But if while out there you can pull """6 to 9 foot jumps and spins"""
Just do not OMIT (means the same as lying)
To tell all viewers that results like that are NOT typical at all
In order to jump like that there was on the water and in the kite 10 to 12 knots (average 11 knots)
How do i know ?? Because i have over 200 hrs of flying on the SP3 21
Claims like that turns people off....probably why Tone is selling his large bedsheet
11 knots average is nearly DOUBLE the power of 7 knots average
So post videos...but please never never put a number (wind speed to it)
"""""""""You do not need whitecaps to have wind""""""""""""
Yesterday "on the beach it was 9 knots"...ocean was totally glassy...wind side side on..2 ft surf
But on the water the wind power in my 19 Riot XR2LW was 18 knots !!!! Magic wind ??
I was totally depowered and yet still in control boosting 20 foot high kiteloops on strap surfboard
I could have made a video and bragged.....but i do not need to...i enjoy my privacy
I don't know why people think you can't loop big kites? I do backroll kite loops and downloop transition landings on my 18 Dyno all the time and it's a super (Supa?) slow kite. It doesn't always make it all the way around by the time I land, but it's still a soft landing.darippah wrote:supa I believe you but i'd love to see a vid of kiteloops on your 19m regardless of the wind speeds
