I have been searching for a place to launch a kite in this harbor, but I can't seem to find a decent spot, which is really a shame, because it's a huge inland harbor with smooth, shallow water with very little boat traffic and plenty of fetch. Any of our Florida people know of a good place to launch?

Seems a roundabout way to get into the harbor. The harbor looks so inviting when I take 41 or I-75 over the bridge. It's a shame there doesn't seem to be any place I can launch in the bay proper. I suppose I could do a drift launch, but that just means I'd be guaranteed to put up a wet kite every time I went there.
