kitenake wrote:sik loops for sure. what would you call this Billy. Maybe Glide loop ?? Glide to kite loop? I love it when you can get level with the kite. feels so sick.
I for Sure agree the loops in the vid are Sick, I hope no one read any differntly into my post..
.But Megaloops are off the flats with a differnt type of pull and wind plus you are penetrating the Wind as Wayne Mentioned (don't let him fool ya, about him not gettting yanked when he loops the kite, his loops are sick), so the yank is totally different. Back in 2008 this video has some "piece of shit" Calling them kiteloops around the 2:30 second mark, he even mentions double and triple kiteloops up high, I agree with him
and still call them kiteloops out of glides. Funny though I call them Glideloops often with people who can do them..

Billy: I am not english speaking...
No one is a piece of shit. My humble apologies is hereby given.
I meant to comment on Lolo's loops, not if it was megaloops or not.
Still: I ment to be ironic about Lolo's achievement, "piece of shit " , as in "no problem".

Like the English expression "piece of cake " perhaps??? Thank you for clearing the air, I was surprised by the name calling, it is nice to know it was a translation issue.

I thought a megaloop was the rider and kite being parallel to the ground...

A mega loop is going down wind the entire time during the loop and you travel down wind with it.. Any loop out of a glide has the rider penetrting the wind in till the first loop is done then the rider is yanked from basicly going into the wind to then again going with the wind, and usally up hill. With several Helo style loops after to control your fall.
I do both tricks and they are totally different. On the flats It is the biggest jump you can do with a Megaloop all while going down wind, Out of a glide you are going into the wind and then using the oppasite force of wind and your thrust while flying in to the wind to do the loop.... Maybe I will shot video today.
