Very nice!!!
I want some of that too. How are the next few days looking. Ol' NOAA isn't so promising but...he doesn't matter that much for Skyline.
Whadda ya think.
Ready for a road trip.

We actually have enough snow now to ride at Strawberry as well. We have had a 3 day storm that has dumped a ton of snow on the Wasatch Mountains. I haven't been to Skyline yet, but Strawberry has 2 1/2 feet of super light fluff.
Unfortunately, the wind forecast is looking sad with high pressure filling in over the region on New Year's Day - ugh!!! Tomorrow and Monday are looking like really light wind. Sunday is looking really iffy.

Well thanks a lot for the input Fern. We're in the doldrums over here in SW CO too...but lets not put too much trust in the forecast. Air wants to move around.
Keep the faith. Can't wait for more good Skyline/Strawbs sesh's.

Glickster,
The forecast is for a dry northerly flow, so there is hope. The powder was 2.5 feet deep and dry at Strawberry yesterday. I had a great session for 90 minutes before the wind died. Every turn was a faceshot. Today, Skyline had similar conditions with light SE wind. Rode for 3 hours, glided off the east cornice. Bluebird skies and deep pow, welcome to paradise.

I was just at Park City yesterday, and Skyline Thursday and Friday. Got skunked.
The powder was so deep, the wind wasn't strong enough to pull me fast enough to float over it. Barely made it back up wind. The kite flew perfectly though, just needed a much bigger board.
