Smart move, How many kites does he sell for SS vs the cost of sponsoring him? I really like Rubens video's, but to me it would not matter what kite he uses. It would not influence my purchase.

See, this is the smart thing about marketing

Yes I am. I ride Fuels because I like C's. I ride SS because they make their boards in the USA! If they started making kites here it would be even better. Hear that SS make your kites here.

Slingshot makes a great product. But as a business they are hurtin' bad.
I'm guessing len10 left for monetary reasons.
Best has a lot of investment money right now so they are sucking up a lot of pro's
I could see Len10 jumping on North maybe since North is doing so well lately and the Vegas has been rated one of the best kites for megaloops several years in a row now.
My bets is on Len10 joining North.

It's true LEN 10 is leaving. He is signing with Switch kites. I know it's true because I read it on the Internet.

If he is leaving SS then it's for the obviouse reasons (money) but the bigger story will be if Best had made an offer, Ruben tried the kites, and didn't sign with them because he didn't like the kites.
Ruben not liking Best kites... Now that's a story !

ahh yes, the all knowing internet.
I wouldn't be surprised if he liked the Combat C. That would be a huge deal for switch to land Ruben.
I still think North is a more likely situation. Biggest brand in the world right now and Best is chomping at the bit to take the thrown. Signing Ruben might allow North to secure the title.

That's just his style. If he liked 5 lines he would already have 5 lines. With his style, he is always crashing his kites in huge surf, 4 lines is better here.
