Hi Folks,
I consider buying Ozone Catalyst 10m and 14m. On the official website; 55cm bar is recommended for 14m and 50cm is recommended for 10m. My concern is if I really have to buy two different sizes control bar for two kites. Will I be ok if I buy only 55cm bar for two kites? One bar is a quite bit money which I can buy a board with that amount. I am begineer freeride style kiteboarder. Thanks for the help in advance..

Some makers have kite bars which can adjust in width (North/ Epic/ Switch /Airush I know, there are probably many more). You'll need to find out wether Catalysts flag out to one or two front lines but I'd suggest with care you ought to be able to find something to work properly....... Do some searching here to see if anyone has experience of Ozone Kites on other bars. Good luck.

Yes you should be OK 55cm for both those sizes
When i had a 14 (now sold) a 12 and a 10 Rebel it worked just fine....one bar size..3 kites sizes
Generally when you ride the 10m2 in high winds back lines are slacker because you depower kite
So 55 cm is just right.....now if not depowered (full -on power) the kite may feel just a bit fast
That is why 50cm is suggested as the perfect width

Dont worry about the recommended widths, doesn't really make too much difference. I fly 2012/2013 Airush Varial X kites, 8m, 10m and 14m and use a 2011 North Trust Bar on the inner setting for all kites, even the 14m and and I loop the 14m all the time. I love the North bars!
