Nice video 8)

I have seen many kitecam shots from waves like this "swallowing" you - and it is a mess like seen, but still quite easy to retrieve your board 8)

Just wished he could have surfed the "right" way too, frontside now and then, instead of going backside from start to finish (I dont like that, not doing it myself except for an occasional change, nor watching it)

But nice video and angle, and the wave peels fine mostly :thumb:

Agree, but I think especially for long time surfers it is kinda hard to switch. So they stay on their strong side. Windsurfers adapt more easily.I like to watch backside surfing but with a kite it does not look so smooth very often. There are exceptions, with this guy it looks quite fluid: http://vimeo.com/59183554

Very nice vid, with good perspective of "washing machine".

It made me abit seasick so i couldn't watch it for the duration.

Good to so some footage of actual mistakes. usually they get cut when editing.

Peter. Each to there own. There is no "right" way to ride a wave.

Maybe not - I should have said the "other" way then...

As riding one side stance ALWAYS, no matter if front or backside, is not very rewarding for many, nor does it look good...

The only thing I meant by using the term "right" - was that it is by far the favoured side if you could choose both :thumb:
