Another short session yesterday on LTD. Put back on Soft bar pressure and that's where it will stay. About 1/2 the bar pressure when it was on the Med seeing. Wind was Avg. 11.5 mph. On XL door. Was Med powered. When wind dropped below 10 had to work kite until next puff. Was not going upwind that good in the light conditions.
I did notice their seemed to be more wind at ground level then at kite level.
Sorry Toby, no way enough wind to jump.
Was in Ocean and my weight is 245 Pies!!

Should have a report Friday night. I'm going to let a Mystery rider also test the LTD.

CONFIRMED for Toby and Puetz:
17 LTD Dyno Jumps HIGHER and has more hang time and glide than the 18 Dyno. No doubt about it. More power on the Upstroke when sending the kite to jump.
Made a slight adjustment on the depower Cleat location and it seemed to lighten the Bar pressure.
Had a friend of mine ride it. He is a WAY better jumper than me and he also has lots of time on the 18 Dyno and confirmed that the 17 LTD Boost much better and has a Longer hang time. There was an 18 Dyno on the water also and the LTD Killed it on the Upwind angle.
Note: also rode the 2013 Nugget with the 17 LTD and the combination of the Nugget with its Speed results in MEGA Jumps.
More later.

Sounds interesting...hard to believe!
Pls show me a video if you have?
I have the Fuse 18 at home...might be able to test it in 2 weeks or so.
I hope to get my hands on the Ltd and Edge too. Would be interesting!

That does sound interesting. Where can you buy one in the US? Did a quick Google search and didn't see anything.
Does it flutter like the 18m did?

Does not Flutter like the 18. It Climbs from down low Up the Wind window way faster than the 18. The LTD and the Nugget yesterday Produced HUGE jumps and long hang times. The Nugget rides like its on Steroids!! Tracks like its on Rails!

So is last year's 17M Dyno (7 strut) been dropped from production ?
How's LTD performance differ from 17Dyno?
Thanks, Max
