Has anyone used this stuff to repair kites (maybe a bladder, even) or boards ?

How about this for making rails on your homie kiteboard. Look much easier than pouring PU. Maybe also for the nose of your surfboard for those straplesss lost inthe whitewash watching it bury into the sand.
