Hi everyone !
Rookie here; practicing since January.
Expat, originally from Italy, but never really lived, lived there.
Last year I moved to Cartagena on the Colombian Caribbean coast.

The winds here are seasonal. Nice side/in shore (N, NNE trade winds, 14-25 Kts from November/December to February/March. Out of season you have to travel up north to Cabo de la Vela. 15/25 kts year-around, offshore, with motor boats looking after kiters. The charge is ten dollars whenever someone requires assistance.

I have taken a couple of courses and now I'm looking into buying my on equipment.
I'm inclined towards a 2012, RRD Vision, 11m, or Airush, DNA, 10m or, Wainman Rabbit Punch, 10.5, although I'm not sure this is an appropriate setup for a beginner.

Cheers
