Hi Tomi,

I never tried the smaller FS, only 15 and bigger.

But any kite that has a good lift, hangs long, is slow (or can be trimmed slow) and good bar feedback will work for Airstyle.

The problem will be a missing stopper or microloop...you need it.

Never tried it, but Raven is a kite with lift and hangtime, and it shouldn't steer fast, so it will be good!

Let us know how it works out for you!

I will, but now it is quite imposible to kite in these days in middle europe. Temperature apx. 0°C and most lakes are still frozen :D and travelling to more weather-friendly location is planned to next month

I had a great session on the 2012/13 Ocean Rodeo Prodigy 14m in a steady 15-20 knots. It's a 3 strut, delta shape. Not sure if it was just the wind that day or what, but pulling down on the bar during decent just gave me another up. Anyway, it has the best hang time of any LEI I've used so far (and the handling is good) making it great for board offs. A 14m is still a bit small for going old school, but it's as big as they make it.

Personally, I don't think anything beat the foils (FS Speed 3) for hang time, but .... they have a few compromises....

I love my Flite 17 - hang time is really good, just seem to hover for ages, but the altitude isn't as good as FSer I think. They do a Flite 15 too...

I've been trying the Peter Lynn, Fury Lite these last few months and it is turning out to be a great kite for Old School tricks… Great hang time in a kite that for the bigger sizes still turns fast. If you get a chance try it out...
