Best relaunch, easier bar pressure, faster, HUGE range, Huge jumps, kick ass in waves,..
just an all around better choice. I got 7 and 9 and could not be more stoked.
Fuse is a great kite, but imo, Evo can do more.
I got 2012's and not used the 2013's of either model
Awesome Thanks thanks bud i think im leaning towards the evo. Have fun, Whitey

one other point that I didn't see addressed. The Fuse will go upwind better.
I'm on Fuses now, and my last quiver was OR Rises, which fly really far forward in the window. I've found the Fuse to still go upwind and jump are huge (jumps feel like you're cheating), but it's very stable and, while it still flys somewhat forward in the window, it's far enough back to rip transitions and still do a pretty good job in waves.
If you're interested primarily in wakestyle or waves, go Evo. If you want all-around freeride/big air, go Fuse.

.
The Evo's upwind performance is unreal. When windy (plenty) I de- power the kite a little and it will suck you upwind like nothing else... riding a surf board ... Of all the kites i had in my life, best upwind performance I noticed. My opp. and my experience...no comp(+) to newer models of fuse or any other...
(+)... meaning I got no other comparison

Actually the Evo is designed to sit farther back in the window than the Fuse. The North Kiteboarding 2013 catalog rates the Fuse significantly higher than the Evo in upwind performance.
This does not mean that the Fuse is a better kite, it is just a different design goal. If you are a beginner trying to stay upwind, you probably won't even notice this difference. In fact, the Evo may be the preferred all around kite for a beginner.

Evo's upwind has improved a lot what is was some years back. However Rebel and Fuse will still go higher upwind as they have improved also. Tried and tested.
