This is quoted from the thread: Renegade Infinity V2 light wind machine (post April 2nd-Dimitri)

Decided to have an evening session on Oxygen V2 twin tip board and the Infinity V3 final prototype
in (_ to_ knots) while nobody else was around due to the lack of wind.

First of all :congrats: for not stating a wind speed...you are learning
You are now in total harmony :chorus: with your LW kite that does not need to have a size on it !!

"Now for the lack of wind being the reason nobody was around".... is not entirely precise IMO

Clearly from photos you are planing (at low speed) , edging and having some relaxing fun.....
.... no lack of wind...from my point of view... looks like awesome conditions (yes i'm an addict too)

It is possible that people there just don't care about LW at all
It is possible that people there just don't have gear like yours...or large size LW kite & wider board
It is possible they were out all day while it was really windy...and now they are eating and drinking

Once again ...best for you to keep the light wind speed "blank" just like the size on your V3

I guess people like Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong sooner or later would be haunted for cheating his fellow sports man
what nobody likes, while cashing in millions.
So as will be haunted sooner or later those aggressive losers who are associated with, using those coursing words against other fellow human beings.
I'm surprised nobody's life was threatened yet by those violent folks
and not removed yet from the forum cause I know fireman and FBI is watching here also for reference :!:

Hunqi - I'm not sure I understand your post?

What has a fireman got to do with an online forum?

As for the FBI I doubt very much they would be waisting their time here. North Korean has sent a second set of long range balistic missiles to its East Coast. I pretty sure they will be working on something more akin to that.

Supa, please give it a rest. taking quotes from other threads to keep this thread going is just sad.

Let's all hope the world is still here tomorrow and the wind we fly are kites on is not a nuclear one!

Peace

true, most important.

Some people should calm down here. Not really funny if you trying to achieve that.
there is better humor...ask the Brits...they got it! :thumb:

Taking that one quote from that one other thread shows he finally applied ...
.....my suggestion from that day when we met on Dec 11th

When it comes to the light wind speed leave it "blank" (_to_knots) just like the (_m2) on your Infinity

I am congratulating him for his fresh new approach....and i hope it lasts :thumb:

Don't you all agree that it matches perfectly his Infinity philosophy :?: ....no numbers needed :!:

I agree... it was a good suggestion you made and its good that that Epic seems to have adapted it.

I've only just caught up with this thread properly.

That video by Mr Latino is BRILLIANT! What an outstanding demonstration of the inferiority of the Epic Infinity in light winds and the fundamental dishonesty of Epic in trying to portray otherwise. Epic struggling and then collapsing into the water while the Cabrinha LW kite blasts past. The Epic Infinity would NOT fly in ? 7/8 knots, let alone 2-4 knots. The OP has been modified to include this incriminating video.

Morning, "Pump me up".
According to my experience in light wind (instructor) I don't think you realize how hard it is to kite in almost no wind on an standup paddle board. for sure you can't compete against a race board that has 4 very long fins that creates more speed from its apparent wind and better plaining then a sup that will start going side ways because of the shape, small fin and so on.... In my opinion you can't compare these 2 boards. But from what I see in the video that Dimitri made is that the Epic Renegade Infinity kite is a really stable kite which is able to stay up in the air in no apparent wind driven from the big fins and race board. If you pay attention you can see the Infinity is just seating their while the SUP board is barely moving, until Dimitri fell in the water. shit happen to the best guys... Hahaa
