Envy Liquid Force

Postby katy » Fri Apr 19, 2013 10:00 am

I have two kites 9 - 12 and they are perfect for all type of wind and wheather but I have very big problem with loop, I tried both settings but the kite is very slow in rising and my landing on water is immediate and violent. I don't know how to solve this problem and due to this I am thinking to change both kites.
could you please help me or give me your opinion?

My buddy uses these kites and can kiteloop very well. Ive trie them and have kite looped successully 3 out of 10 times. My problem with the is being able to tell when its gonna jump, so i woul end up w a low kiteloop and a hefty pull when already on the water. With my gear i have no isues. So i blame this on the fact that my rpm on the light bar press setting is very diff than the envy.

Ive considered purchasing the envy from my friend, cause he'll give me a god price, but am hesitant because of the general feel of the kite. I mean, if u see my frien kite, it makes u want to try his kite, but when i do i feel weak and kooky

few tips - make sure your bar is tuned right, check lines for stretch mostly the front lines if they are stretched will cause the kite to stall more after the loop and not shoot up to catch you.

also a typical mistake is not sheeting out after you loop it. When you push the bar out after you loop the kite it causes it to travel up to 12 quicker. Once it feels as if it caught you then you can pull the bar in to give you that extra float down or loop it again as your near landing.

Unhooked kiteloops are ok with the Envy, but mega loops; no way...

For good ppwered loops you need a kite that builds up speed when turning. No pivo turning... C shaped bridled kites kites can do it, but nothing beats a c kite :)

don't loop anything bigger then 9.
use the bar of your 12 when it's bigger.
power your bar to loop it.
the envy needs more input to turn then the rpm.
or buy the hifi-x.
