Hi everyone - we just started an interview series called the REAL Pro series and Youri Zoon was up first to talk about freestyle kite gear. We spoke to him about the gear he rides, choosing c-kites over hybrids and riding in boots. Check it out...

Are there any suggestions for more riders or topics you would be interested us interviewing?

Nice interview.
One thing I am interested in is board choice these days, so many recent boards are totally different, with channels and different flex patterns that many pros are choosing flatter rockered boards for competition, even with boots. Is the extra upwind ability worth the tradeoff for softer landings and other benefits that come with rocker? I noticed that even Rienstra is riding the Darko a bit now, which is a pretty flat and flexy board and isn't what you would traditionally see guys hitting rails with.

Great input - thanks dyylan. Will cue up some board based interviews in the coming weeks.
