New old school kite tips?

Postby Guttorm » Tue Sep 24, 2013 12:28 pm

My light wind gear for years is Crossbow 16 and a Slingshot Glide with 6cm heelside fins.
What kite or board will make my lightwind days more fun?
Velocity 18m maybe? anyone tried it for jumping?
I am 108kg (202cm) and most of the time here we have to little and gusty wind.

Toby, how did your test session go? Did you try new good big kites for airstyle?

I think the CB 16 is a good kite.
But I don't know how it compares to other big kites, I barely test...and didn't try anything in about 1 year...
Glide is a big board...good in light winds to cruise.

E.g. my fun starts in about 14 knots, 18sqm kite, 128x38 board...real fun 18+
You need some wind for Airstyle tricks...around 10 knots it is just cruising...
