Good one, i find it easier with the fishpole grab of the bar, this way is easier to avoid the step 2 crash
Funny thing the step 1 though :lol:

FISH POLE!!! :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

that's what kept me away from that move for a long time
because I attempted it in lightish winds,
and the reflex with a fish pole grab is to keep pulling...
...and then your kite keeps looping and loooping and looping
and you're like a leurre at the back of it tumbling

really, start simply unhooking, putting the kite @ 12 00
pulling on your back hand and initiate a backroll
will make you progress easy in the right direction

now I agree, fish pole is classier, more energetic
and in "real" Wind, it is equivalent
