I lost my grab rail that I bought from epic almost immediately in the surf but I looked around the beach and found several things that work well for grab rails. I used a piece of firm minicell foam found on the beach to fashion another one and I super glued it like Toby suggested and its rock solid now!
Another solution I found is to cut a pair of flat, cheap sandals and glue two pieces together, then fashion the rail and glue it. The sandal foam is the perfect hardness and easily found for free.
