Hi Gonzolinho,
wow, I did google a lot... I´m wondering how you found this "official" pic????
So, it looks like they put the park more into freeride/freestyle direction, but the shape seems too me very close to last year´s model...
I like the park also for waveriding, so I hope they don´t change anything major... I like one simple kite for all disciplines: wave, freestyle, wakestyle... I don´t know why so many companies have many specific kites in their lineup... Many people choose between waveriding and freestyle daily, depending on conditions... I don´t want to carry different models in the same size...

hope that helps (just need to "google" a bit) - no infos about the bridles though

They have specific kites because some riders prefer a specialised style or they take the opinion that you are better to a couple of specialised kites, one for say wakestyle and one for say wave riding. There is merit in that argument, depending on how far down the rabbit hole you do into each discipline. But for most of us, yeh the all rounder...which all have their own flavour and their own fortes along the spectrums.

Hey Taut (or anyone else, feel free to answer), since you seem to be the expert in Naish kites around here, tell me: I have a Park 2012 12m, which I am thinking to sell in order to get another 12m, more recent: I like it very much, but better low-end would definitely help...
Until a week ago, I thought I would wait and see if the Park 2015 would have any real new feature... And if not, I would go for the Park 2014 (got it in 8m, love it).
But I recently got to fiddle with the "Grunt" setting on my 12m, and it really looked like it made quite a difference, allowing me to ride in light wind with "maximum grunt", when I generally put it on "max depower" (and it was not enough to go upwind in 10 knts).
Since 2014, they took this option off (so they could set it with a static briddle I guess). So here is my question: has the 2014 Park better low-end than the 2013 Park set on maximum Grunt?

Still waiting to see what they changed for 2015, the Pivot looks nice enough, but even though I do go strapless when I have the occasion, my program is more freestyle-oriented, so I'll stay with the Park I guess.

@Gonzolinho: thank you very much for taking the time to give me all that info.
Though, have you tried to change the Grunt setting at the time? I usually do not touch it (did not seem like it was doing much until late), but was really impressed by the surge of power last time I used it (maybe there was just more wind? did not look like it though)...
So I was afraid that by choosing a 2014, I would loose the possibility to get a better low-end, but if you say that it is way better anyway, then it's a no brainer, since there is the bonus of a faster responsive kite...
But now they add the Pivot to their line-up, and it has really good reviews, with people claiming it is better in many ways than the Park... Well, they said that for the Ride too, and I was personnally not too impressed by it...
In the end, I will surely end up getting the Park, just because I won't have the chance to test the Pivot, and I know already how the Park behaves, so I'll go the safe way...

And you're talking to a Naish fan too: chose them for my first kite because of the Bolt and its reputation for handling gusty winds (which worried me as a beginner in a place where there is only gusty wind). Ended up appraising almost everything about their kites. On occasion, had the chance to try other brands, and every time I was wondering why would anyone buy anything else than Naish... Well, they're not perfect (swivel, hard 2012 bar...), but way closer to it than others for me...

You know I am not sure if the grunt is more powerful, I really did not try that side by side...and I assume it would be close. I would further assume the newer are better but I am not sure. What I did notice is the newer parks (last two years) hold on to the power much better. That means instead of spiking forward and dropping power it would move forward put hold on much better.

XRay: Did you try the latest Park? The way it loops now is much more full on turn, no stall on the bottom that I notice, and then lift right up to catch you. Obviously not as much power as the Torch, but still...I think the park this year is an even pull on the wave.

WaveRider / WestOzzy: I do agree that most ride feeride...but I like to hear what kites are good at simply it explains the main characteristics of the kite....it is obvious that it can do other things as well. The lael freeride kite does a poor job of communicating how it discriminates itself from other freeride kites.
I do love how Naish brings in comments from the designer explaining the design goals.

The pivot certainly feels like an even pull when turning. In side to side on shore this kite is so very nice.

Any info on the New Naish Fusion bar? They link to it on their page telling about the Pivot, but it's a dead link. The bar looks really nice.

Hi Alex- How's the Pivot's bar pressure compare to the Ride and the newer Parks ?

Very light, much lighter than PARK 2014, and extrem fast turning. The speed and feel of this kite, makes all that test it better riders in a instant!

Test this baby!!

Hi Taut, tested them all, was a tad better than 2013, but still... Looking forward to try the Pivot, perhaps next weekend...

nice. I just wondered because I thought the turning had changed really positively. I do know that different people find different things attractive. :-)

Pivot is definitely on my list. :-)
