hello hawaiis!!!
great video!
how do you judge the wood core with carbón?
can you notice the stiffness?
how do you compare wthe ride quality with the non carbón versión?
did you use simetrical profile on the front wing?
how did the winglets work?
youre the man in low tech hydrofoil revolution!! :D

The carbon made the whole thing really stiff, but now it is too fat at 1" or 25mm thick.
It is more stiff than 2008 Carafino, 2013 MHL, 2014 Alpine 4.5. I will make a thinner version soon.
The front wing has a very slight positive lift. I did not put the twin tip fins on the bamboo front wing. It is still my first old bamboo wing.

I'm one step closer to flying over the water... The thing I hate the most is my real job gets in the way for building right now..

next step is poping some molds ... hopefully have them this weekend

Looks good Terrie...let me know when you have some. Would love to try some in our area sometime soon. What is your mount? 4 screw like MHL or tuttle?

I just bought 100 yards of Carbon Fiber, I will start my carbon experiment soon.
The new setup is holding up too well. Too fat and too strong. I need to start to put it on diet.
Hydrofish is a good novelty, I don't think it is efficient.
