Hi ,
Anybody has experience how to compare those ? I am intermediate oldschool enthusiasth. Riding with twintip (also wants to start with surfboard). Edge 9 2010 is perfrct in allconditions but want to replace edge 13 2010 with Reo 12. No newchool tricks, only loops and big air jumps i am tring to create.

hmmmm,,, the edge and the reo are at complete different ends of the spectrum.
I have 13m 2010 edge and 6m reo.
Personally i love the low aspect reo in hauling winds its a great storm kite. great in the waves.
but its not a boosting machine and nor does it churn up wind as well as higher aspect kites.
if you love the aspects of the edge for light wind you probably will hate the reo.
13m edge will be significantly more powerfull than the 12m reo.
my call is your better off to stick with the edges for light wind and get into a reo when the wind and waves are cranking.

What Plummet said. i have the 13m Edge and the 12m Reo. I would also suggest to get the Edge for what you are looking for. The 12m Reo should be compared more to the 11m Edge in power.
If you plan on getting into the surf you wiolll more than likley be looking at smaller Reo's nothing in the 12m range
If anything change out your 9m Edge for a 10m Reo but for sure not the 13m Edge for a 12m Reo.

Edge doesn't loop, but perfect for hang time and big air. Reo on flat water likes to be good powered. Tried them both in all sizes.
