Did anyone ever shorten the 2012 North bar?

I reduced the diameter by using it........

Shortening lines? If so, it needs to be done below the Y. I've never shortened the bar itself but why not. just drill out the rivets remove the ends, saw off what you want to and replace with new rivets or equivalent.

Not the lines, the bar itself.

Where would I get those rivets? Guess they are not standard? No idea how that works, sorry.
