Postby Fabian75 » Sun Apr 12, 2015 10:14 pm

Just wanted to introduce myself going to start my new venture kiteboarding in the South Padre Island area. Last summer I put in many hours with a trainer kite and took a lesson now ready to jump to the real thing hope before the summer is over I can be up and boarding...

welcome!

It is beginning of April...so you have many good months ahead of you...and SPI has great flat water spots, where you should be up and riding in few hours easily!

Any questions about the sport, just ask on www.kiteforum.com ! :thumb:

Enjoy!

Stay safe out there. You are getting into an awesome sport . We all argue like family but we all come here for the same reason and that's the love of the water and wind.

Word of advise learn to get up with a bigger board so you can feel the way it pulls then size down to a smaller one. You can always use the bigger one for those light days.

Have fun
