Nismo: what do you mean with a halo loop?

I didn't see Kevin doing a front and back 360?

I do up to 4 rotations no handed with a double board grab...a stopper or Microloop is needed.
And a kite that is parked in zenit, no where else!
Again, a slow !!! Kite will make you land it, an fast turning kite most likely send you to hospital.

15 knots with an 18 is 1000 times safer than 30 with a 9...

The liftoff and initiation is basicallly the same as a normal rotation jump, just once you start to spin you lock the bar and keep the momentum.
Open up your body to slow it down again.

See here at 0:54 the Front 1440 Double Grab.

Toby I just googled "halo loop" and it came to a post about you answering about a helicopter loop so I am thinking this is the same thing just a different name. I'm just trying to understand if you mean to say any movement of the kite away from parked at 45 turns it into a back 360.

Ok, I assumed so but wasn't sure ;-)

I mean sending it behind or into zenit and pull the bar to get air.
Parked with little movement up or down for me is the Backroll.

that slide roll slide at 41 seconds is so sick. I'm not fond of the multiple rotations anything over 1 or 2 rotations means you have a lot of dangle

I'm looking to learn those too. I'll work on those this year.
I ll start with normal boost then add them after a kiteloop.

My friend basically jump initiating a rotation but you can barely see them rotating, the rotation is very slow then midjump they throw their head to finish rotation.

Another friend of mine winds up his hip back, jump then mid jump he throw head and hip really fast and spins really fast! He uses some wakeboarding technique.

Anyway if anyone has a systematic safe way to learn, please share.
