Having fun learning some new moves , it's 7 minutes of your life you won't get back but some of it is ok.http://www.youtu.be/OqJqoG-CBcU

Hmm, wonder what I did wrong with that link?

Nice ! A perspective on the foiling I don't see too often.
I enjoyed and gave quite a few minutes.

Awesome, looking good Denise, you ride just great :D

Lovely relaxing "stairway" guitar, assume its you playing

You removed the "s" correctly Denise, but you need to putt www. after http:// in order to show the vid in the thread and not as a link only.

But for some reason it does not work either with the youtube brackets, just checked up.

Two ways of solving this, either just use VIDEO instead of youtube, and it works, or use the full youtube link instead of the short one :thumb:

Both of these will work, in fact the first gives a bigger window

Code: Select all

Fixed it for you. You need the video tags. The youtube ones don't seem to work.

Are you the same Denisesewa from the old Arcs forum? Paul and I used to hang on that and the much older kitesurfing egroup.

We're both working on tacks and 360's with not a load of success so we're quite envious of your skills.

Nice! How do you like the new Clouds? What's the wind like when you're overpowered on an 8?

Thanks for the positive comments! And help with the video.
Peter, my guitar skills are reasonable but not at that level yet.
Oz- yep I was an " Arcoholic" back in the early days.

Mossy, The new clouds are really different than the early versions, super friendly with a longer "sweet spot" minimal flapping when depowered and much bigger wind range, they fly like a good strutted wave kite @ half the weight, for me @ 140 lbs I feel overpowered but not out of control on foil @ around 18- 20 mph, I can comfortably get foiling on it if it doesn't drop below 10 mph, I do really like these new Clouds.

Défi kite last week-end !

You can see Nico Parlier and Axel Mazella way ahead of the 250 riders fleet at 2'40.

At the end of the video, I'm in 9th position. I ended the race 12th, I need to work on my port tack...
