Access to Beauduc (FR)

Postby jorg » Wed Jun 07, 2017 7:38 pm

Hi everybody
This message is more for French kiters.
I am a Canadian kiter who travels w a small motorhome in South of France.
I do really want to spend couple nights in Beauduc and kite. The guy i met in Leucate told me that they only give access to the cars that are 2m wide.

Does anybody know any workaround to bypass the main entrance?

Cheers

Berk

Ohh nooo😣😣
Some mentioned that there might be some access around the village.

Is there a place i can park outside the gate and walk to the water?

The road from the village is closed.

Walking, impossible. One way is around 20 kilometres, no shadow at all on the worst road you can imagine. I would rent a small car in Arles and go with this. Drop the camper on a save place, close to a police station.
Don't go to Beauduc during the weekend. Make sure to have the propper information how to reach the beach. There are no traffic signs.

tks

Kosta
