Hey how much more low end do you think the 15m has vs an 11m? I have an 11m right now i use in 18+ as im foiling in anything less than that, but i am wondering if an 11m will be enough for my wife in 12 knots or should i get her a 13 or 15 for low end?Huib wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2017 10:31 amGot the V8-17m and the V8-11 which I have replace for the V9 11m + 15m. High-end 15 meter is very high and gives then high jumps. But you can make almost then the same jumps with the V9-11m. Low-end V9-15m is a bit disappointed.
The bags don't have a pocket for your bar.
I felt the same thing today. What pigtail did you connect to to fix the issue?fat blokes can fly wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2017 4:01 pmFriends who have the v9 are loving theirs including looping ability.
One friend reported:
"Back to back tested the v8&9 today the v8 is faster and jumps higher... but there's bugger all in it and the v9 feels gutless but is easier to fly."
On Saturday a friend was out on his 13m v9 whilst I was on my 17 v7 (love that kite). I personally found that my 13m v8 has a lot of crossover with my 17 v7, but felt the new 13 felt gutless in comparison set on middle setting and middle knot on the new bar. Having to ride it fully sheeted in (maybe a freestyle thing). As the session progressed he changed to shortest backbone setting, with a reported much better overall feel.
