How to steal Money from dummies 101

Postby ShaveTheWhales » Thu Sep 14, 2017 7:59 am

Step one.
Tell honest enthusiastic kiters, windsurfers and other sports people - you are going to produce a jump meter, a gps guided video camera and any other gadget that promises to make their dreams come true.

Step 2.
Call it a kick start program.

Step 3.
Take their money.

Step 4.
Congratulations youve broken the dummy Code :naughty:

Am I the only one seeing a pattern here ?

Lol downwinder - yup too much red dirt and no sea water to wash it off..

Toby, all the ones that have come out so far - half baked..

Add Solo shot to that list of course..

Soloshot is a bit different...they already had two models on the market, and not a kickstarter with their 3rd model. Just 50% discount if preordered.

But things look good, should be shipped soon. I am sure to make a perfect product it takes time and always new problems come up.

Looking forward to it.

PS: they have a great support, every email got answered over the years.

Don't forget tracking drones. I almost got burned on the Lilly pad.

I use the old school jump meter. Ask friends on the beach how high I was. Woos seem more a social media thing than an accurate reading and don't seem to last.

pretty much everything on kickstarter is like that... Though soloshot wasn't on kickstarter but preorder which isn't right, even though you can get a refund it wasn't a great move and pretty bad advertising for the brand.

Solo shot looks like the ideal product to get nicked on the beach while you show off in the water! Other than that looks like a great idea...!

I second that. I have had the original Soloshot and the Soloshot 2, and always got good technical support. I am disappointed by their delays, but that happened with the 2, as well.

I think their mistake with the 3 was being too ambitious with the extra features. Too many things to do and they didn't give themselves the time. They probably should have put out the Soloshot 2.1, and 2.2, and so on, while working on the big changes that go into the 3. Keep selling their good product with incremental improvements while developing new tech for a whole new version.
