Thank you!
NP Mirage is not produced on 2018? I dont see it on their website.
Carbon harness is not seems to be so comfy...I dont know how peaple like them stiff.
You're welcome! I see that NP just updated their website since I'd posted and you're correct, it looks like the Mirage is now discontinued. The Proton looks like their most compact "softshell" harness now.
Also know that the Ride Engine, Majestic X, and I believe the new Atom are the only true "hardshell" harnesses currently on the market. The rest are more of a "hybrid" design with a combination of stiff and soft construction.
Check out this test video and you'll see what I'm talking about about the "hybrid" models. Four of the six "hardshell" harness I listed are tested. You'll see why I listed the Brunotti harness under "softshell". https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... 8lUhZi5jfs

Some other compact/lowpro "softshell" harnesses to check out would be Gaastra's Amp, Underwave's Squared, and possibly Manera's new Union harness.
So dissapointed that np choose to discontinue with the mirage. Atom is really compact but its fully carbon, too stiff for me, I prefer softer. Mirage was a great choise for me :/
The Np Proton looks great! its an hybrid harness, combination between soft and carbon and looks compact low-cut.
I have 2 finals now- ion hummer and np proton.

Or maybe you could get the 2016 or '17 NP Mirage on sale, now that it's being discontinued. Good time to stock up!

Maybe NP's Flash is more your style. It's NP's softest harness. "Like Riding Naked"!

When it fits your body the Ride Engine harnesses are the best! Nothing comes close and it is worth every penny.
