I'm surprised that no-one seems to have tried the Spitfire XLW behind a boat or towed into a wave on one.

Does anyone know what all the screw sizes are for the Spitfire? What I can find online says the back wing screws to the fuselage with 3 M5 20nm screws, but I think mine has one shorter one, maybe 15mm?
i took all my screws to a specialist hardware store and had to special order the A4 stainless screws. I didn't want to go through what I went through with my naish foil due to ignorance on my part when all my hardware fused. here is pics of what I ordered. the m6-1.ox16 is the little one.

Hi all,

you can buy all our spare screws online .

f.ex. for the Spitfire you will find them here
http://zeeko-kites.com/gb/kitesurf-and- ... tfire.html

For the back wing of the Spitfire you need 2 x M6x20 + 1 x M6x15mm
All screws are made of A4Inox.

Nothing too special, but here's a video of me maneuvering around a bunch of moored boats in New Zealand on the XLW wings. Great control through the turns and can go much slower than the normal wings.

Bletti, if you have the normal SpitFire Wings how would you compare them to the XLW wings. When do you decide to use Normal vs XLW?

I live in san diego and when i tried as a beginner w the standard wings I struggled but once I got the large set it was like night and day. I don't notice a lack of control at high speed on the xlw set but I only foil when I can't be on my surfboard. If I were to buy a new Spitfire I would only order it w the xlw wings. I don't see ever needing the small ones in the future. Its not a race foil !

I got my Spitfire with both sets of wings. I'm very happy I got both. For the most part if I'm in the ocean or riding waves I'm on the XLW wings. In flat water I typically ride the standard wings.

The XLW require very little kite power but you need to be a bit powered for the standard wings.
