The 2013 KiteOceanics will be a part of the International Kiteboarding Association’s (IKA) annual course racing calendar, held under the auspices of both the IKA and International Sailing Federation (ISAF).

The event will start on the 10th and run through until the 15th of December, beginning with qualifying heats and culminating in a winner takes all race, for a prize pool of $30,000. Leighton Beach is located about 10km south of Perth, overlooking the Indian Ocean where the courses will be laid out for competitors.
