Purchased the 136x40.5 wanted to write a quick review. This board is 2016 model is so smooth and fast and goes really well in the chop and excellent upwind. Really happy I spent extra money and bought Carbon model. Pads and straps great all good.

I kept breaking the old pads which had a 1mm thick plate. New one looks definitely sturdier.
I have rode mostly 135cm 2014 and 2015 track carbon,my buddy has the non carbon too. I think the non carbon might be a bit better in chop as it feels softer.
With that board I have a hard time getting a good pop in chop though, I keep sliding out as if I can't get that tail down deep enough...
Definitely goes upwind well it is pretty flat board.
as far as pop and riding in chop I prefer my new board which has a lot more rocker, it's a Nobile 50 138cm. IT S way easier to have aggressive pop even in light chop.
Doesn't go as fast and low end isn't as good as the trax though.

Pop feels good to me on Trax but to each his own, as usual try before you buy when you can.

I have the '15 137cm carbon one. Perfect size at 90kg.
-broke the original pads as well, had them replaced with the '16 ones - a lot better!
-the whole HDR thing does makes a difference and there's a lot less spray in the face.
-these boards are fairly loose and you have to know its limits when carving hard.
-F-One fins are a joke - very easy to break and these aren't exactly an off the shelf item.
Overall I really like the board and the way it rides.
Have a buddy who's heavy into looping and he was riding a Trax up to a certain point, but switched over to an Acid since - according to him - it's a lot easier to land due to different rocker.

Trax rides chop better, Acid is for flat water for me. Attached is photo for proof.

I've just unloaded mine, nothing wrong with the board - just felt like trying something else.
At the end of the day:
-Carbon version is hardly worth the expense. Weight saving is negligible and the regular version is actually more comfortable in chop. After all it's only a carbon version of a mainstream board and not a dedicated carbon board like BronQ or Carved.
-Repairability of these boards is very limited due to their built process.
-And for the real nitpick - they used screws with different drives for straps and fin boxes. By itself is a non-issue, but side by side with other boards that can be mounted/unmounted with only one screw driver - it's kinda annoying.
Would I buy one again? Probably not.
